Open enrollment for ASTI, Encinal Jr. Sr. High School, and Wood Middle Middle are open now until January 19, 2024. Maya Lin will accept open enrollment applications from January 22 - March 15, 2024.

Steps to Enroll

NOTE: New Student Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year began January 22, 2024 with the following timeline:
TK and kindergarten families can schedule their enrollment to be processed on January 29 or later.
Grades 1 - 12 families can schedule their enrollment to be processed on March 4 or later.

Please complete only one enrollment for each student enrolling. If you are interested in a transfer to another AUSD school, please complete the transfer request form by clicking this link. Transfer Requests

Step 1:

Determine your school by using this link. School Finder Tool.

Step 2:

Gather the required documents to complete Step 3. You will be prompted to upload the documents during the enrollment application process. Please only email documents if instructed by your enrollment specialist.

The first three items are REQUIRED for proof of residency.

1. Homeowners: Current Property Deed, Property Tax, or Mortgage Statement
Renters: Current Full Rental Agreement/Lease

If you live with someone and your name is NOT on the property paperwork, you must complete a Shared Residence Affidavit.
Affidavit Instructions and Form - 2024-2025 School Year

2. Current Proof of Utility: Alameda Municipal Power/ACI/PG&E/EBMUD ONLY and no older than 30 days

3. Parent/Guardian ID: Current Driver’s License, ID Card, or Current Passport.

4. Proof of Immunizations: View immunization information

5. Birth Certificate/Passport/Baptismal Certificate/Hospital Certificate

6. Most Recent Transcript of Grades (if Applicable)

Step 3:

Complete the two-step online enrollment process through Aeries.

  1. Complete the online new student enrollment application.
  2. Schedule your processing time after submitting your new student's application.

A processing time is set aside for your enrollment specialist. During this time, your enrollment specialist will review all of your uploaded enrollment documents, verify residency, and finalize the enrollment. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information.
